As was reported, Mitt Romney is coming to a fundraiser hosted by our very own, oftentimes township attorney, Larry Bathgate. But who is Lawrence Bathgate really? We know he was the lawyer that represented lakewood in the blue claws deal. He has together with his close comrade, Atorney George Gilmore, and Bob singer controlled much of Ocean County for the last twenty years. Here is what an article from a blog called Texans for public justice That tracks where all the power and money in politics comes from, has to say about our very own Larry Bathgate.
Lawrence E. Bathgate II
Occupation: Attorney
Employer: Bathgate Wegener & Wolf
Home: Lakewood, NJ
As a New Jersey banker and real estate tycoon, Lawrence Bathgate was one of the first President Bush’s elite Team 100 fundraisers in 1988. After serving as finance chair of the Republican National Committee under that President Bush, Bathgate voiced shock in 1997 that then-coffee-klatch President Clinton had taken aggressive fundraising too far. He bought Brooklyn-based AM Cosmetics in 1996. Bathgate—who own’s Thomas Jefferson’s dining room table -then became a bond attorney at Bathgate Wegener & Wolf. After co-chairing a fundraiser headlined by Dick Cheney in March 2004, Bathgate told the Los Angeles Timesthat he had raised more than $500,000 for Bush’s reelection campaign. Bathgate resides in an oceanfront home previously owned by the Bristol family of Bristol-Myers Squibb (see Bruce Gelb). President Bush appointed Bathgate as a trustee of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
He is also well known for helping many people according to our sources.

It seems the modus operandi of this site is to Destroy another Human Being
Dou u realy believe some blog without any backing to their story?? Cmon grow up
As a shrewd political observer, my belief is that Hershel tried to change the Republican party in Lakewood for the better, and failed. So now he is trying to destroy the Republican party of Lakewood.
The problem with this strategy is that the Democrat party is worse. In addition, by destroying the Republican party in Lakewood, this will have a negative affect on the state and national Republican party which is trying to save our country from the Democrats.
So we may hate Langert, Miller, Singer, but Romney should be supported. If Obama wins a second term, we won't care too much about the petty issues of today, we will have much bigger issues in this country. And it won't be pretty.
it's part of the planned destruction of singer, menash, langert,AMK, etc as gebells ym"s said repeat it enough times till the world beleives it
Hershel I heard the lakewood shopper is boycotting toys for thought and calfornia swils! Is that true?
Someone is J E A L O U S . . . .
Larry Bathgate was NOT the Township attorney by the blueclaws or cedarbridge deals.
